The Puma Faas 500S Running Shoe is constructed of a minimal and highly breathable AirMesh in the vamp and a more supportive mesh in the quarter panels, featuring supportive yet minimal overlays for a stable ride. An EcoOrthoLite sockliner provides higher responsiveness and step-in comfort through the gait cycle while featuring improved air circulation with antimicrobial properties. Support and protection is provided through an external heel counter while still keeping the over all weight of the shoe down. FAAS Engineered Stability Zones can be found on the medial midsole and the outsole which delivers a more stable ride. Pumas new blend FAAS Foam+ combines foam and rubber which is more resilient, has increased step-in comfort and a springier feel - and is 25% lighter. The Faas 500S also features, EverRide+ an updated blown rubber compound that is lighter and has enhanced cushioning and durability for a smoother toe-off, and EverTrack heel outsole, a highly abrasion-resistant carbon rubber outsole.
